we are but fish, and not perfect. we had three furniture sellers in a row in our choices for our tumblr, two of which were not handmade, and this seller here. we went back to edit, mainly due to a kerfuffle on etsyworld which we did not want to add to directly, and somehow mistakenly mixed up a factory shop with a handmade seller.
we take this very seriously, because of course we support handmade wholly, and there is a reason we have rarely called out non-handmade, because we don’t like to confuse the issue and promote bad actors. this was a very bad mistake, and we are glad the human person kindly contacted us, and refrained from being mean to us and making us cry, which we totally would have deserved.
PART OF THE ORIGINAL AND MISTAKEN POST WHICH WE RETRACT AND APOLOGIZE FOR:
from the writing in this listing, we are pretty sure this is not handmade, that it is coming from a factory of some type. it has elements we appreciate, a modern and comfy chair, which even in our furniture-less homes would probably look fabulous, and fabric with excellent designs.
we do stand by the part about it being a modern and comfy chair and having fabric with excellent designs, of course. that part is entirely true.
