I personally am a supporter of Shark Week, because the mass murder of single critical species needs to stop, and because sharks rock. There’s nothing quite like meeting one in real life. Like that time I was swimming in the ocean, and checking out some of the reef life, and this very large fish swam past me with a particular motion I instantly recognized, and every single cell in my body lit up with recognition, like an old friend, and it was a very small reef shark, but seriously
